We have not seen Patriots DT Vince Wilfork present at the teams voluntary workouts for a few weeks, and we may not be going to see him for some more time.
As it is widely regarded, Wilfork is one of the best DT players. He has been working for the Patriots since 2005 and has started all but three games. As 2009 is the last year in his current contract with the Pats, he has been looking forward to a new contract. He believes that with holding out he will be able to get what he want from the Pats, but before the contract issue is settled, he is unlikely to return to the field. However, according to what he told the Herald, he is hoping to end all of these as soon as possible, so that he can be with his teammates again.
