Little and LeBeau compete for Pro Football Hall of Fame

Floyd Little is former Broncos running back, and Dick LeBeau is currently Steelers defensive coordinator. Both of them become finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, joining 15 modern-era candidates on the complete list of finalists for the 2010 class.

At age 67, Little was chosen for five Pro Bowls and his career records include rushing for 6,323 yards, 43 touchdowns, 215 receptions for 2,418 yards and nine TDs. He retired in 1975 and ranked seventh in career rushing.

LeBeau was a star defensive in the Detroit Lions before he became a coach. During the 14 years he played football as a player, he managed to intercept totally 62 passes, ranking seventh all-time. And during the 37 years of coach career, which has not been near an end, LeBeau has won two Super Bowls as the Steelers defensive coordinator in the last four seasons. He is considered as a player candidate because he is still working in the NFL and the Hall of Fame requires a candidate to be retired five years before he can be voted in.
