On Monday, the Oakland Raiders right guard Robert Gallery underwent a surgery on his left leg, in which there was a broken bone, and that would cause him to miss four to six weeks of the season.
The injury occurred in the second half of Oakland’s 13-10 victory in Kansas City on Sunday. The operation was performed the next day and sounded that he would miss the game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
The Raiders coach Tom Cable has not decided who would replace Gallery by so far. And on last Sunday’s game, he moved center Chris Morris to guard and used Samson Satele at center after Gallery left the field. As for the next games’ starters, he would have choice among Khalif Barnes, Erik Pears and Paul McQuistan.
