After being kept out of practice most of the season, the New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw skipped another practice on Wednesday and traveled to North Carolina to have his bothersome right ankle examined by specialist Dr. Robert Anderson.
He was not the only player wearing Giants jerseys to miss the practice. Middle linebacker Antonio Pierce and backup cornerback Kevin Dockery were not practicing on the field either. Pierce had a sore ankle and Dockery was excused for personal reasons.
Although Bradshaw has rushed for 455 yards this season despite the injury, he just wanted to stop it from bothering him. Because of the injury, he has missed Wednesday and Thursday practice most weeks while wearing a boot to protect both his sore right ankle and foot.
