The Carolina Panther wide receiver Steve Smith went on field in time on Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins. No signs showed that he just returned from a minor car accident on the way to the game.
According to Panthers officials, somebody bumped into” Smith’s car Thursday, but fortunately, Smith did not seem to be injured and was able to continue to drive to the stadium, putting on his Panthers jersey and all other parts of game uniform and joining his team to play against the Dolphins.
Smith has been picked to Pro Bowl games for four times. For this season only, he has had 38 catches for 512 yards and three touchdowns, two of which came in Sunday’s win over the Atlanta Falcons.
