Saints LB Dan Morgan's agent Drew Rosenhaus revealed the news on his Twitter page. And it is only 4 months after Morgan came back to the team. It is time for fans to collect his mitchell and ness made jerseys as memorial.
“Dan Morgan has informed the Saints that he has decided to retire due (to) continued injuries,” Rosenhaus said. “Dan would like to thank the Saints for the chance to come back this year, but injuries would not let him continue his career. His decision is final, and he will be moving on to focus on his restaurant business in Charlotte. Dan also wants to be able to spend more time with his wife and children.”
Morgan is a one-time Pro Bowler with the Panthers and was signed by the Saints last year. He never played in a game with the team and retired last year because of injuries. However, in February he anounced coming back with the Saints and put on Mitchell and Ness NFL jersey again as a professional player. It was not long ago, so it is really a surprise his agent said he made the final decision to retire.
