Seahawks QB Hasselbeck practiced but was questionable for Sunday game

On Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck took full part in the team’s practice, in an effort to accelerate his return from a broken rib. But it is still questionable if he would be able to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday.

It was 17 days after Hasselbeck was hit high in the back by the San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis on a dive for the goal line, and Hasselbeck was trying show that he could do everything possible to get out on the football field without question, although he still has to wear bulky rib pads throughout the practice.

It also showed that the Seahawks, who have lost three consecutive games, was desperate to save its season. They expect Hasselbeck to return as soon as possible and might be glad to see the quarterback be able to practice as Coach Jim Mora has set a goal of winning these two remaining games before the bye.
