Punting during Wednesday’s practice and kicking off during Thursday’s practice, the Cincinnati Bengals flamboyant wide receiver Chad Ochocinco plans to kick field goal in next practice, in an effort to convince AFC coaches that he could be more than a just receiver during the game on Sunday.
The six-time Pro Bowl receiver is an international soccer fan and practices kicking. He had never done it during a game until last August, when Bengals kicker Shayne Graham was bothered by a sore groin in practice before a preseason game against the New England Patriots in Foxborough.
He proved his capability to Bengals fans and Patriots fans by kicking an extra point that was a key to Bengals’ 7-6 victory. And now he thinks it’s time for him to show his versatility to more audience as he will put on Pro Bowl jersey in an all-star game.
